10.56 Europe/London, September 14, 2011 By Chris Dziadul The Slovak Council for Broadcasting and Retransmission has awarded licences for six new local digital TV stations. Quoted by Digizone, Lubos Kuklis, the councils director, said that Regionmedia had received two for station FORWE, GAAD REAL one for TV Presov, Devinskonoveská televizia one for DTV and the Qurtex group one for WYWAR. Separately, the council has begun administrative proceedings for the withdrawal of analogue frequencies held by TV Markiza, Joj TV, the public broadcaster RTVS and Crea TV.
