NonStop Television is to launch a new quality movie channel in the Scandinavian market. Silver is being promoted as the premiere destination for film lovers. Its international schedule will include Amelie from Montmartre, Spike Jonze's Academy Award winning Adaptation, and Todd Solondz' Happiness. In addition to the premium channels TV1000 and Canal+ Film, Silver will also face local competition from TV4 Film. The commercial free mini-pay channel has already secured distribution on the Swedish pay-TV platform Boxer.
